Good morning, it's February Fifteen, Two Thousand Twenty Six! And it's a Sunday! Here in Portland, Oregon. It's about seven fifteen in the morning and the sky is just starting to come up. A gray dawn. Not dark anymore but not really light either, that in-between place where the city is still waking up. The clouds are low and soft and everything has that quiet Sunday feeling. Thirty-eight degrees Fahrenheit, around three degrees Celsius. This afternoon should be going up to around fifty-one, about eleven Celsius. And the clouds should thin out quite a bit, let some sunshine poke through. A pretty nice day for February, by golly. Day two of weekend projects. And here's a beautiful thing I was thinking about this morning. There are only two seasons where the days get longer. Winter and spring. That's where we are right now. Every single day, a little more light than the day before. Two and a half minutes more, every day. Now in summer and fall, it goes the other way. The days get shorter. Every day you lose a little bit. But that's not us. Not right now. Right now our position is improving. And I think there's something very, very beautiful about knowing that. That wherever you are today, tomorrow there will be more light. Everyone have a great day.
